My name is Yannick Hamelryck, a SOC Analyst with hands-on experience in SIEM, XDR and SOAR environments. I enjoy investigating incidents in depth, improving detections, and continuously expanding toward security engineering and cloud security.
About me
Experienced SOC analyst in a MSSP environment using the Microsoft Stack tools and Palo Alto Cortex XDR/XSOAR.
My current goal is to keep growing into a stronger security engineer profile, with a focus on cloud security.
Interests
Cloud security, Microsoft security tooling, threat hunting, incident investigation, PowerShell, Python, and writing about lessons learned from studying certifications and working in cybersecurity.
Current focus
Building a stronger portfolio, documenting projects, sharing what I learn and passing the AZ-500 exam.
